almost graduating and my current situation

Wow its been a year already and i am graduating, i am about to enter in a career that i did not dream of even doing when i was 5. Hopefully god will guide me in this career, a career that hopefully help me build my life in the future. I just finished browsing EA's website and they have an intern co-op positions that is perfect for new graduate available. The perks in getting an intern position is unreal, here are some of the perks you get working as an intern in EA

1. Be able to work in a AAA game and have your name in the credits
2. Have a "New grad" director to guide you in your career in EA
3. TRAVEL (FUCK YEAH)
4. GET PAID xD

Now onto the next subject....

Right now im mentally tired.... My final project weeks is KILLING ME... especially classical animation.. but im glad that im moving on the pace that i planned out. and hopefully finish everything by next week sunday :D

right now also im kind of dissapointed with myself.. i promised that special girl that i will always make her smile no matter what.... but right now shes depressed... and i cant do anything about it

i want to help her..bring the smile back on her face....it hurts me inside my heart that the person i really care for is sad and depressed... she does not deserve what is happening to her right now..

If someone of a higher power is listening to me now.... why are you doing this... is this a test that she has to overcome... is this sort of a twisted fate? is this to help her be more strong?.. i just want an answer...

but in the end i believe everything will turn out fine for her... i always believed that there is a light in the end of the tunnel... and by the time she reaches the end of the tunnel... i will be there to take her hands and make her smile again.... because right now...nothing is more important than her happiness.....

Hahahahha hey Rosa this is the blog that i told you that i have not used for a long time.....The time is currently 2:10 am, i bet you are sleeping right now... Hey uhmmm im supposed to put this in a facebook note but i dont like fb and its privacy settings(just dont trust it). well yeah hahahah anyways.

I am just here to tell you how much you have made a big difference in my life, its funny how we have been together for a few weeks but it seems like we have known each other for like years and years. Still i get shy when i tell you about what i feel.... but yeah errr i just want to say thank you very very much for accepting me for who i am.. i guess you are getting annoyed that i tell you this a lot but back then most people will laugh and mock me because of some of my fears and things i did not learn in my childhood(ie biking,swimming,etc)... i guess i can attribute that to my father who never really taught me stuff and i grew up with mostly females so most of the things i learned as a kid is cleaning the house and listening to really old music.

I also want to thank you for being so lovable and caring... i really really never have met a girl like you and like you said you are the most amazing surprise i have ever gotten in my life. Im sorry if the only way i can express my love for you is only through words, im sorry i cant do things other people did for you back then, im sorry im such a lazy ass sometimes and mostly never go out of my house, im sorry i cant always pay for you when we go out(stupid job market >,>), im sorry if i cant let you experience some things because of my weaknesses, im sorry if i always apologize to you about these things(maybe because i just dont like people around me to talk bad about me especially the ones i love the most^^) and most of all im sorry i didnt tell you this face to face...ahahahha i guess i still get shy around you..

What is the point in this -.-

Ahhhh Facebook you cannot have a day without going throught this website. I am not a big user of it, i just use it to send messages to my friends(because most of them spend there whole day in it -.-) and im not really a big user of those facebook apps but i do join some groups. Now i have joined every normal and ridiculous groups in facebook examples are groups like my old highschool, a group to help a friend become a DJ, even a group for people who love sleeping.

Today though i have come across one of the most RIDICULOUS groups in facebook. I saw it in my friends live feed its.. KOREANS CAN REACH 2 MILLION FIRST THAN ANY OTHER NATION.
OK first i was like... sure i guess they just want too see how many korean facebook users are out there and then i see links to other groups that are the same just different nations, nations ranging from the Chinese, Irish, Greek ,Hispanics, Japanese, Italians and of course Filipinos(which is my nationality) and it was a race. Now i thougt this race was just for fun until i decided to dissect each group and read some of the comments. I started with the koreans, yeah yeah yeah blah blah blah korean pride blah blah blah....Japanese are monkeys....wait WHAT THE

DID I JUST READ THAT RIGHT?????? Japanese are monkeys...what about the next one by this user: Japanese people did not evolve right like us Koreans -.- ........ Theres a lot more but the saddest one i saw was WE KOREANS DOMINATE THE WORLD SO WE SHOULD NOT LOSE..... sigh what started as a race became the battle of the MASTER RACE... now i am not saying all Koreans are racist, i have lots of Korean friends and they are really nice people.. just some few bad apples out there. but instead of a group it became the cliche battle of which race is better.

This groups just started so i havent seen the other posts from other nationalities.. so i became curious and checked the Filipino one and i was .....WHOA 27,000 people already :O.. now i am not really proud of that number... because in the end what will this prove? there is lots of Filipino facebook users?, that we have nothing to be proud of that what we just prove is that we can reach 2 million before any other nationality(which is just totally sad -.-).hopefully the other nationalities does not start being racists and if they do join this group please just join for fun. Besides all of use are equal. just different looks and language :)

A sausage party????

I believe i hold the weirdest get togethers sometimes...today has got to be one of them. Since my family is away i held a small get together in my house..most guests were my male friends and most of my female friends cant come(actually just two came)


Later on most of the female guests left and all the guys were left.. and yes we all watched paranorman activity...it was pretty hilarious seeing a bunch of guys hiding in a big ass blanket xD.

Still the night was fun we had pizza,drinks and a house full of snoring guys, now that's what i call a close bunch of guys (not in a brokeback way :P)

Anybody here visited a website recently and for some reason your eyes suddenly turn to the bikini clad lady in a flash game ad for a game called EVONY?

- well i checked and its multiplayer browser based game. the gameplay is reminiscent of civilization so its also called CIVONY

I have actually(sadly) tried playing Evony and i found out that its one of the most CRAPPIEST browser game i have ever played.........but wait why did i play this game

using women in your ads is not cool(though some of them are kinda hot) but i bet you will not find any of these women in game....now if you'll excuse me i am off to play A REAL STRATEGY GAME :D

Wow i wanna watch/play that

That's what we always say after seeing a trailer.Trailer: a preview of a movie/game that shows selected shots to attract audiences. In that way the trailer shows scenes that are particularly not in order in which they appear in the final product. Usually shown in trailers are the exciting ,noteworthy or funny parts of the film\game, that way it won't show spoilers. Why talk about trailers.... well this was one of our assignments in our video editing class, since i am in game design we were told to make a trailer of a game, and we have to make this trailer really good...really good that our professor will be forced to buy the game(so he says). I started doing this project last week and the game i decided to put was uncharted 2: among thieves.


Lots of reasons why i decided to put uncharted. One the game is truly fantastic, its a masterpiece,its a game that can make people...well start playing video games, its the game where you want to play the game but you wont mind watching the other person play it because you are too busy watching the environments. Two the game has a movie atmosphere in it, the voice acting is top notch, the story is unbelievably epic and the dialogue was not written by a college drop out who i believe was hired to be the script writer in that Clive Barker game that i wont even mention.

After choosing the game i started with my storyboard(with a bunch of stick figures in it),next i booted my PS3 and started recording gameplay clips, dialogues and cut scenes from the game.
After i got all my clips,dialogues and scenes i was off to do it in premiere pro and it would be smooth sailing from here on out................or so i thought



I always thought that everything that was shown that lasted for only 2-3 minutes would be very simple to make...i was wrong...DEAD WRONG, what started as a fun project for me became a nightmare of epic proportions, when i edited out my trailer i realized i had to put in mind the background music, the scenes, the dialogue that can fit in other scenes, transitions,cuts and so much more..... Last night i was finally able to finish 75% of it and just today i finished it. When i reached to the point that i was almost done i realized that though not perfect. i believe i have created a visually exciting trailer for the game, a trailer that if it was perfect(some really small noticeable mistakes in sounds and transitions) it could have fit as a REAL trailer for the game.


I am very proud of the trailer i made. I believe my video shows the real definition of trailer, a preview of scenes that shows funny,noteworthy and exciting parts of the game that won't show any spoiler and make the audiences want more.(currently uploading it in youtube i will post it when its done)

Current situation : burned out...but happy :)

Games and life First post

Hey very first post in my new blog here, whew i finally started a blog after years (well months of )procastinating. My name is Jon or u can call me Airshock(my username in some games xD).a gamer who has done nothing else but play video games that im even studying Game Design so i can enter in this industry and hopefully i will not turn my back in it. I created this blog to share my thoughts on games, the gaming industry my life as a game design student and my life OUTSIDE gaming, now you ask me WHY BLOG at all, well for one i made this blog to release stress, i believe blogging is a great way to remove stress and to sooth my my soul of the uncleanliness i see every day, also the blog can be great in posting my portfolio work(which i probably wont show but what the heck), and from time to time ill be Reviewing video games and analyzing them which is great because all good game designers should be good in analyzing games(obviously)

So yeah this is just an introductory post and i shall do my first post later on tonight after i take out the trash cya guys later :D.
